Whyred opened a new renovated and bigger flagship store the other day, and this was celebrated with loads of free champagne and every possible alcohol beverage you can think of! My friend Linda and I were very impressed with it all but mostly with our new found crush for the band who played that night: "Kriget" and their hot go-go dancer!

One of my first idols was the crazy zoot-suit swinging Cab Calloway. The first time I heard one of his songs was when i was 7 and watched Betty Boop on the telly. It was "minnie the moocher" and I simply couldn't stop "hidehidehideho"-ing!
Tonight i'm dressing up as Calloway when I hit the masquerade party...

London Calling

Leaving for london with my man in 2 weeks and hopefully the british pound will still maintain a downward trend...
and those volcanos on Iceland should also keep in check or else my sister's nuking them! Well, this is our to do list while away:

Visit Victoria & Albert museum and see the
Horace Walpole exhibition

Go to Forbidden Planet so my man can buy Fantasy books
and I a Jack Skellington doll

Go to Atlantis so both I and my man can buy a bunch of occult books to add to our collection

Make a stop at Camden town to buy creeper shoes at the Darkside.

Have a nice pic nic at London fields to later go and have dinner in a restaurant on Broadway market.

My sister and I had our differences growing up but what finally united us was the sit-com "Friends". I was at the time watching too much telly but got persuaded some how by her to watch this new series. We were hooked from the beginning and still recite jokes from the show by heart... these clips are one of our favorites.

My parents did seldom allow me to go out/to parties when I was a teen. But this only added more fuel to the fire and made me even more of a party monster... I used to sneak out at times, even if it got me grounded for months to come...
